Rune is educated M.Sc. Chemical Engineer from University of Trondheim, Norway, Institute of Technology (NTH) in 1981. He joined Norsk Hydro in 1982 and covered positions within process engineering, R&D and operational management in different locations around the world from – Glomfjord in Norway, Shaanxi in China, Mesaeed  in Qatar and back to Porsgrunn Norway.

After the agri division of Norsk Hydro was spun off as Yara ASA (2002) he headed Research and Technology Development in Yara International out of Sluiskil in The Netherlands.

 

Rune resigned his position in Yara January 1st 2011 to realize his own technology ideas and ambitions within green nitrogen through N2 Applied AS.

Grete Sønsteby

Grete is educated Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration (siviløkonom) at Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, Norway. Ms. Sønsteby joined IBM following completion of her degree in 1984. She joined Scatec in the fall of 2005 as CEO and was instrumental in building the Scatec organization – focusing on development of climate neutral technologies and advanced materials. She also held the position as Chairman in several of Scatec’s subsidiaries.

Prior to working for Scatec, Ms. Sønsteby was engaged by the Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry to manage the Government’s Innovation initiative. Ms. Sønsteby has extensive experience within the IT industry on both a national and international level, and has held management positions with international corporations such as IBM, Ericsson and Oracle. In addition to having had and have a member seat on various Boards, Ms. Sønsteby has developed her business experience through managing her farm, socioeconomic local development and through forestry.
